Are there guaranteed returns?​

No, buffered ETFs, including the ARK Defined Innovation Exposure Term ETFs (ARK DIET ETFs), do not offer guaranteed returns. While they provide structured risk and reward, the outcome still depends on how the market performs.

Here’s what’s important to know: 

• The ETF is designed to reduce losses through a buffer, but investors could still lose money—just less than they would without the buffer. 
• Gains are still possible, but limited by the upside hurdle and participation rate, so investors’ return will not exceed a certain amount even if the market soars.
